[Francesca is the Winner!] [a
close nipper] [crazy
hair]

In her sixth month, Francesca lived through her first cold, first flu, and (first?) transcontinental move. She has emerged healthy and happy to be a California baby, as evidenced by her pleasure in wearing tie-dye. The move has also appeared to solidify her decision to go with blue eyes and curly hair.

Our little peach continues to love the sound of her own voice and comes up with new babbling sequences (a popular one being ga-ga-ga-gee!) on a daily basis. When out for a walk, she narrates the entire adventure in real time.

Francesca has also been working on her sitting and can now sit for long stretches of time, or at least until she tries to keep her eye on someone who walks behind her. Although she enjoys rolling around, she seems more interested in trying to stand than to crawl. She will happily sit, roll, stand, or lunge with mouth agape for any baked good. When she doesn't get what she wants, she lets you know by pounding her hands on the nearest surface.

All in all, Francesca is busy exploring her world and stretching her limits. That's our little nipper.
