Francesca has sprouted four molars in the last month - painful for Francesca and the entire family. While Francesca's ability to chew has improved, her ability to sit still long enough to eat more than a few bites has markedly diminished. Too many things to do, too many places to go!

Francesca's favorite things to do include "runnnnn - ing!" and "jump - ing!" and going "side to side!" and "up and down!." She's also very busy saying "hi doggie - bye bye doggie" and "hi cat - bye bye cat" while running by. She provides Howard Cosell like commentary while engaging in all of these activities and to point out all the things she's walking and running and jumping past.

While her love abounds for the doggies and cats, going to the zoo to see the "animals," and hitting the park to get in on pick up soccer games, Francesca's true current passion is bubbles. Not actually blowing bubbles since she hasn't figured out the blowing part yet, but dipping the wand and demanding that the nearest person "blow! blow!". If you're particularly talented, she may grace you by calling you "dude!" or giving you five.

If she's not so sure of your talents, Francesca may try out the IQ test she developed soon after turning 17 months. The test consists of her taking an object - any object - and placing it upon her head and then turning to her victim and winningly asking "hat?" If the subject plays along and says "yes, sweetie, it's a hat!" or some such nonsense, Francesca shakes her little head and sadly says "no hat no!" then laughs her little head off.

As of the last update, Francesca had begun trying to sing. Now she sings along with the tune of many songs and fills in the missing words if you sing part of the lyrics. She's especially fond of singing along with Elmo and dances away with various stuffed animals and dolls, especially her Groovy Girl, to almost anything. When it's time for everyone to settle down, she'll often line up all her animals in various configurations that are very carefully and exactly thought out and/or will pull out some books to turn the pages and carefully read them aloud to anyone within shouting distance - actual words may or may not be involved, but it's clear that a tale is being told.

When it's time for Francesca to settle down, she will lie down and inform you that she's "sleeping" while fake snoring. An hour later of jumping around, trying to brush her teeth at the sink, using the potty, and adoringly looking at her own photos as a slide show on the computer, Francesca's finally and truly off to sleep.
